• Took a look at Tropfest

• Went to literary lunch with Harry M. Miller at the Glenrose Theatre

• Joined FCA luncheon with the Australian Trade Minister Simon Crean

• Went to book event (Kink, Stephanie Clifford Smith) in Newtown

• Started "Professional Editing" course at the NSW Writers' Centre

• Started "Small Business" course at the Mosman Community College

• Became the coordinator of the ASA Social Club in the North Sydney areas

• Self-published my first eBook (Amazon)

• Joined event "Trends in the digital domain" with Natalie Costa Bir (HarperCollins) run by the Society of Editors (NSW)

March 2010:

• Completed the "Small Business" course run by David Martin at the Mosman Community College (8 weeks)

• Went to FCA event about terrorism conspiracies

• Joined the Fast Twitch writers' group in the Blue Mountains

• Joined InterNations event

• Completed an editing project (guide about good manners by June Dally-Watkins)

• Joined the AGM of the ASA

• Went to an event about the "China challenge" at the Seymore Centre

• Went to the committee meeting of the Society of Editors (NSW)

• Watched Peter Thompson and Peter FitzSimons on the ABC's Talking Heads

• Joined a literature event with Ilija Trojanow at the Goethe Institute

• Joined an event at the Lowy Institute about the China reform

• Joined the AGM of the Society of Editors (NSW); became a general committee member of the organisation
