What I have been up to in the third quarter of 2012 – in parallel to my freelance and part-time work:

July 2012:

  • Term 3: Continue teaching "Write, Publish & Market Your Own Book" at Mosman Community College

  • Term 3: Continue studying at Sydney Rudolf Steiner College (teacher training)

  • Attended book event (Längs-Lesebühne) in Hamburg

August 2012:

    • Attended committee meeting and luncheon of the Society of Women Writers NSW

    • Completed teaching "Write, Publish & Market Your Own Book" at Mosman Community Centre (weekend classes)

    • Attended FCA AGM

  • PENS published an article about the SWW luncheon where I spoke

    • My ebook Write, Publish & Market Your Own Book with key points about better book publishing is available on Amazon.

September 2012:

    • Taught "Write, Publish & Market Your Own Book" at my first writing retreat (Pittwater YHA, 28.09.–01.10.2012)

    • Attended "US Tax for Aussies" at the ASA

    • Coordinated lunch for ASA members

    • Attended committee meeting of SWW

    • Attended launch of Bruce Lyman's novel, Flowers of Baghdad, at gleebooks

    • The Vice President of the SWW, Barbara Westerway, reviewed my speech at their luncheon in IMAGES

    • Spent a couple of days with an author in Wagga Wagga to work on his manuscript
