• Worked on my father's biography (Prost Kaffee), e.g. researched at Deutsches Schiffahrtsmuseum in Bremerhaven, at Internationales Maritimes Museum Hamburg and at Hafenmuseum Hamburg, also at Hamburg's State Library

• Mark Thaden from Dithmarscher Landeszeitung interviewed my father and me and wrote an article about us

May–August 2016:

• Worked on my father's biography and released a first volume (Prost Kaffee), started promoting the book

• Attended a one-week film-making course in Hamburg

• Attended a six-session online course about Innovative Tools and Apps for Journalists

• Became my father's legal guardian

• Attended another one-week film-making course in Hamburg

• Spent a few days in Berlin, research for the second volume of Prost Kaffee

• Spent three weeks in Sydney, resolved my flat after 17 years there

September–December 2016:

• Voluntary legal guardian of my father

• Spent three weeks in Sydney, resolved my flat after 17 years there and flew back to Germany, settled in Burg (Dithmarschen)

• Started volunteering at the elderly home: founded and led an arts group

• My father and I promoted our book Prost Kaffee
